A Little Conversation

"Diggy, Dilly, Daisy, quickly come and drink your milk. Quick," called Molly loudly. The girls never dared to disobey their mother, but for Daisy. She would always love to counter her. Diggy and Dilly marched towards the dining table while Daisy was missing. "Where's Daisy?" asked Molly. "Don't know. She wasn't inside the room," commented Dilly. Molly walked towards her bedroom. Peter was sitting and working on his computer. "Peter, did you see Daisy?" "Peter looked at his wife and said casually, "No, I did not. But if you request, I can try finding her out." "Oh, please do so and oblige me." Molly walked out of the room. Peter started working on his computer again and called, "Darling, Daisy darling 😘. I could have become the student and you, the teacher!" Daisy could not help but be surprised by hearing that. "Is it at all possible Miss Lisa?" "Absolutely possible." "What do we have to do to become teachers?" "Just recite the poem I gave you on Friday. If you say it all correct, I will be glad to become your student." "Okay, do you promise that?" "Oh yes. Diggy,  the youngest of all the three,  looked at the teacher 😳.   "Come on, speak. Last week,  I taught you the names of the seven days. Start telling them" Diggy  said," Mon is a day, Tue is a day..." "Stop,  stop.  What are you saying? Didn't you learn the names properly? " "Yes Miss Lisa,  she did try but couldn't speak it well. So, I tried to make things a little easier for her," said Daisy smartly. Miss Lisa was astonished. "Dear Daisy,  have you completed your homework? " "Oh, yes, I have." Daisy handed her Math homework to the teacher.  On the page was written- seven plus one is equal to seventeen and seventy-one.  "Daisy,  what have you done? Does seven plus one add to seventeen and seventy-one? How did y...
